Parent Observation week starts today! Join us for an informal showing starting Monday, November 26th through Friday, November 30th.  This is NOT the last week of Fall dance classes at Bryn Mawr. Please see the detailed schedule for the week below.

MEET THE DIRECTOR!

HELLO EMILY TANKERSLEY!

Emily is a graduate of Towson University, where she earned her BFA in Dance Performance. Following her undergraduate education, Emily earned her MA in Dance/Movement Therapy at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Now in her sixteenth year at Bryn Mawr, Emily teaches dance to students in grades 8-12 and directs the Upper School Dance Company. In addition to her work with the students at Bryn Mawr, Emily choreographs and performs with The Collective, a local modern dance company in residence at The Bryn Mawr School. She has worked with The Collective for 16 years and has performed at many local venues such as the Baltimore Museum of Art, The Gordon Center, Theatre Project, Johns Hopkins University, Goucher College, Towson University and Artscape.
